Sometimes age really is just a number. It is not an indicator of someone’s skills or abilities. However, the older we get, the more things we mentally assume are beyond their capabilities. When it comes to activities that require a lot of movement, such as dancing, people are always quick to use the “broken hip” pun for seniors.

But at least one woman will leave young onlookers speechless with her incredible dancing skills. She is 92 years old, but Vera Rodriguez is not going to slow down! In fact, Vera seems to be struggling to find a partner who can keep up. “No one can dance,” lamented the mambo legend.

“Nobody!” With her nails painted hot pink, Vera said she was going to the club to “show them something” about how to actually dance! There is only one but: Vera is not a 92-year-old mambo legend, but a character created by Mikko Kempe. In fact, the dancer is a woman, Vera Rowe, a nine-time champion in salsa, bachata and hustle.
