Absolutely the best, smoothest and totally awesome choreography!!!

Bianca and Niels are full-time swing dance instructors, performers and choreographers. Their main passion and occupation is Lindy Hop and Boogie Woogie. The Lindy Hop is an African American pair dance that originated between the 1920s and 30s in Harlem, New York. The famous Savoy Ballroom in Harlem has produced many names that have made dance history. To name but a few: Shorty George Snowden, All Minns, Norma Miller, Willa May Ricker, Frida Washington and Frankie Manning. Frankie Manning, who belongs to the second generation of Lindy Hoppers, was an innovator, choreographer and a role model in today’s dance scene. Dancers could dance to celebrities such as Cab Calloway, Chick Webb, Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie.

Boogie-woogie (from boogie-woogie in the style of piano music) is a dance performed mainly to 50s rock and roll, rhythm and blues and piano boogie-woogie. Boogie-woogie is a dance that has its roots in jazz dance. Nowadays, it is mainly known for its competitive scene, but it can be danced in society as well, as it is clearly rooted in jazz dancing. Bianca and Nils started dancing when they were children. They performed and competed with other partners in their countries (Italy and Sweden) in various dances such as ballet, lindy hop swing, latin dance, hip hop, ballroom dancing and swedish buggy. Both Bianca and Niels got into swing dancing and music, their biggest passion at a very young age. Their paths crossed when Bianca moved to Sweden at the age of sixteen and that’s when they started performing and competing together.

Shortly thereafter, their teaching career began. They are currently traveling all over the world, giving seminars at festivals, performing and competing. They love to teach the whole world what they believe. It gives them inspiration, happiness and satisfaction. Bianca and Nils love to bring their love of dance through the energy and enthusiasm on stage and they love making sure all of their students feel comfortable expressing themselves through dance.
