With a voice like a time machine, John Fogerty performs “Have You Ever Seen the Rain “

John Fogerty has embraced his entire musical history. Before his success as a solo artist, John never forgot his roots in Creedence Clearwater Revival. John was invited for an interview on Conan O’Brien’s show, but he couldn’t leave without singing.

Conan says: “Actually, this wasn’t pre-planned, but there was a chance you’d have a little something before we came for us.” Conan was interrupted by a roar from the audience. John agreed, and Conan handed him Andy Richter’s guitar.

Conan says: “I don’t know what’s really going to happen.” John jokes. Then John started joking that he was going to play “Louin, Louin”. Conan said everyone is playing Louie, Louie. I definitely want to hear one of your tunes.”

John launched into the iconic guitar opening of “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.” The audience immediately began to applaud, and Conan and his band showed old pictures and footage of John. After the first verse and the chorus, Hovhannes promised the audience to participate in all that.

They all joined in the verse and started singing. “I know” followed by the song “I want to know”. John told all the listeners that they were all very beautiful. Everyone gave a loud and enthusiastic applause at the end.

John was a founding member of Creedence Clearwater Revival, who had nine top-10 singles and eight gold albums.in 1968-1972. “CCR” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. John continued his career with a number of solo successes and appeared on “Rolling Stone” magazine’s 100 greatest andon the list of recognized songs under number 40.

John’s impetuous vocal and guitar performance was simply amazing. His unique tone and timeless beats have left a lasting impression on fans for decades. This performance is once again proof that John Fogerty is a treasure of American music.
