This sweet baby will made all your day. Elizabeth swims across the pool for the first time. ?VIDEO

Baby Elizabeth, 16 months old, barely talks but swims well. The belated baby became a viral sensation thanks to footage of her crossing a swimming pool alone. The parents, who are of course looking after, note in their YouTube post that they are both well versed in water safety and have taught Elizabeth self-rescue infant techniques from certified teachers.

As you can see in the video, Elizabeth dips her head when she moves forward, and when tired, floats on her back. While the idea of a child learning to swim this early may appeal to safety-conscious parents, it may not be the best option for your child and can be downright dangerous. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children start swimming at age 4.
