Music! How can children learn or live without it? Music educators have known for years that a quality music experience improves listening; offer intuitive and steady rhythm responses; and help with vocabulary learning, sound and pitch discrimination, emotional responses, creative responses, memory and many hours of fun for our little ones.

What powerful learning connections could we use in many aspects of music? It appears that the first three years of a child’s life are critical for optimal brain development, music, and music-assisted learning. Now brain research is becoming available to confirm these notions.
