After postponing the ceremony due to the pandemic, Christy and her husband Bobby got married in Michigan. In the meantime, during the delay, they became the parents of Pearson’s son. They always planned for him to be the bearer of the rings at the ceremony. Pearson stood in front with his father as Christy seemed to start walking down the aisle to the familiar song “Canon in D”. Recently, a bride ceded the attention on her wedding day to her 2-year-old son.

Kristi Mihelic could not have imagined that her son would become the star of the show, but she was so happy that he did! Pearson could not contain his excitement. He yelled, “Hey mom!” Then he waved his hand and ran towards her with outstretched arms. All the guests were delighted and encouraged him. Christie ended up walking down the aisle with her son Pierson and brother Kirk. It was an unplanned aisle walk that ended up being perfect and fitting.

She said, “It was the sweetest thing on the planet.” I could literally go home right now and be so happy at my wedding.” The guests and the groom also enjoyed this moment. Pearson’s enthusiasm set the tone for the entire wedding, which was a huge success. Christie said, “I couldn’t have planned it any other way and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
