Siblings, Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira from Uganda stunned audiences and judges at Canada’s Got Talent Season 3 with a stellar performance.

Esther,17, and Ezekiel, 13, said they have always been singing together from an early age with support from their mom who said she had to flee Uganda after coming out as gay and wife to a pastor.

Ezekiel said that he had to live for 5 years without his mother and that was really tough for him as a child, but now since their arrival in Canada, the duo have their hearts set on winning the coveted CGT 2022 prize, looking at their audition, it looks quite possible.

The brother and sister seem to have music running in their blood because even without any formal training in music they can belt out Pop, R&B, afro-fusion, and gospel.

The Ugandan singing duo is no stranger in the world of talent shows as they won the first season of East Africa’s Got Talent in October 2019.

Now as they sang a cover of Jordin Sparks ‘No Air,’ the audience and judges were in shock when they heard Ezekiel singing with a powerful voice and big range.

The siblings have progressed to the next stage after they received four yeses from all the judges, their proud mother, Julie Mutesasira, was present at the auditions.
