Amira Willighagen is a Dutch self-taught singer. She was born on March 27, 2004 in Nijmegen. Gained worldwide fame after winning the talent show Holland’s Got Talent. In the spring and summer of 2014, she toured South Africa and the United States. She performed in concerts and television shows in Argentina, Germany, Austria. During an express interview with the jury members, the young performer replied that no one taught her music or singing, and that she was learning songs from clips posted on YouTube. The clip “O mio babbino caro” performed by Amira Willighagen herself, scored 20 million views.

In the semi-final, held on 21 December, Amira Willighagen performed “Ave Maria” in the version of Bach-Gounod. In the final of the competition, which took place on December 28, 2013, the aria “Nessun dorma” from the final act of Puccini’s opera “Turandot” was performed. This performance received more than half of the votes of viewers, and Amira was recognized as the winner of 2013.
