Babies tend to be more excited and surprised by things that we find ordinary, precious, and interesting to us adults. Known for being the only American parents of all-girl quintuplets and for their show OutDaughtered, the Busby family demonstrated just that in a 2016 video. At the time, it was Adam Busby’s first birthday when all the kids were at home and the family decided to celebrate with a cake. But when Adam blew out the candles, the Busby quintuplets got a little freaked out. For one US family of five girls, every experience is new and exciting. It’s no different when dad blows out the candles on a birthday cake during a family reunion.

While Mom is filming, the family starts singing “Happy Birthday” and waits for the perfect moment as Dad stands in line to blow out the candles on his cake, making wishes that he hopes will come true. While this is an important moment for the birthday boy (or dad), these quintuplets don’t necessarily feel the same way.
