Posh violinist Lettice Rowbotham gives the Judges something new…

Lethys Rowbotham is a violinist who reached the final of the 8th series of the British Talent Show. At the time of her audition, she was twenty-four years old and lived in Surrey. Prior to her audition, Rowbotham stated that when she was four years old she wanted a violin, however her parents gave her a plastic one, however when she was older her parents gave her a real violin.

At her audition, Rowbotham performed three songs, including “Good Feeling” by Flo Rida, “Demons” by Imagine Dragons, and “Counting Stars” by One Republic. She later advanced to the next round before advancing to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, she played snake charm music and then performed several “electro” songs. She went to the judges’ vote, however this stalled as she received only two votes from Simon and David, while Amanda and Alyosha voted for her opposition to the Innova Irish Dance Company. However, it was revealed that Rowbotham had placed second in the previous public vote and would therefore advance to the final.

In the final, she performed a rendition of “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence, however, she also started singing in the middle of her performance. She ultimately finished the final in eighth place overall.
