Identical twin sisters marry with identical twin brothers and have babies that are technically ‘siblings’ … ?VIDEO

The DNA in this family is something else! Identical twins Briana and Brittany announced their pregnancy on Instagram last year. The 35-year-old sisters have quaternary twins. Quaternary twins occur when two children born less than nine months apart are descended from identical twin fathers and identical twin mothers. Brittany and Josh are the parents of one-year-old Jett, while Briana and Jeremy are the parents of one-year-old Jax.

Now Jett and Jax are technically cousins, but they are quaternary twins, so they look more like genetic brothers. This is what happens when their identical twin parents have the same DNA. “We were hoping we would have overlapping pregnancies to make this happen. We thought it would be really cool,” said Briana. “There are only 300 known Quaternary marriages in world history.” The couple met at Twins Days in 2017. Brittany and Briana described meeting the men, saying it was like they “just stepped out of our twin dreams.”

Just six months later, a double proposal took place in a park called Twin Lakes. The wedding was a joint ceremony during the 2018 Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio. Brittany and Briana, former stars of Extreme Sisters, once dated non-twins. “Loners,” as they like to call them. But they always wanted to be with identical twins. “I think a lot of people in the dating world, especially single people, are looking for their other half,” Brittany said.
