Bars and Melody are a British R&B and rap duo consisting of rapper Leondr Devries and singer Charlie Lenehan who appeared on the eighth season of the British talent show in 2014. During the audition, they are automatically sent to the semi-finals of the competition after head judge Simon Cowell pressed the golden buzzer. They ended up finishing third in the series. Their first single since the show “Shining Star” was released on July 30, 2014, accompanied by an acoustic version of their song “Hopeful”.
