A young cat is known as a kitten. These kittens, when born, are completely dependent on their mother for their survival. Young require 5 to 7 days. Kittens develop rapidly within four weeks of birth and begin to roam the area. However, their mother takes care of their feeding needs until they can take care of themselves. They soon start eating solid food as soon as they enter the 5th week and have teeth like adults. Kittens, when domesticated, become very social animals and love human interaction. Cats have a carnivorous diet and need few carbohydrates. On the other hand, kittens have a lot of energy, so you should make sure that they have easily digestible elements in their diet.
When they stay with people, kittens think of them as their own and very affectionate behavior. They are more relaxed and calmer in the circle of their family members. However, in the presence of strangers, they feel anxiety and fear. Kittens bond best when they are small, around 2 to 9 weeks of age. If a cat follows a person, it shows its love and affection for its person. That’s what happened when cute little Zlata met her new friend, Sammy the kitten. They both share an instant friendship and enjoy spending time with each other.
