Merrick Hanna was a dancer from the 12th season of America’s Got Talent. He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Merrick William Hanna of Encinitas, California. He is a hip hop dancer, popper, animator and actor.  He has been watching America’s Got Talent for a long time. He was influenced by his grandmother, who attends four dance classes a week despite being in her eighties. He also auditioned for seasons 10 and 11, but according to Instagram Live, he was cut before his audition.
Merrick Hannah’s audition for episode 1201 consisted of dancing to mimic a broken robot to Alec Benjamin’s “I Built a Friend”. Howie Mandel, Mel B., Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell voted “yes”, sending Merrick to be considered by a judge. Merrick Hannah’s performance in the Week 2 Semi-Finals on episode 1219 consisted of dancing to John Bellion’s “iRobot (The Human Condition)”. At some point in the performance it seemed that he was flying in the air. Mel B gave him a standing ovation. Merrick did not receive enough votes to reach the final in Episode 1220, which eliminated him from the competition along with Christian Guardino in place of Angelica Hale.
