“Canada’s Got Talent” brings us another stellar performance from the female vocalist. Simone Soman raises her voice to sing, overcoming blindness. She has removed all obstacles and sits proudly on the CGT stage. Simone has been blind in both eyes since birth.

She says, “Blindness is something I’ve learned to live with and I accept it.” She took a break from performing to raise her two children with her fiancé, Rick.

Now that the kids are at school, Simone wants to get back to doing what she loves. Her goal is to inspire her own children and show them what perseverance is. Simone says: “I really want my kids to be proud of this performance!”
