The introduction of a new child to family members is always an important event for new parents. But of all the eager faces and outstretched hands waiting to meet your little one, we think it’s safe to say that grandparents are always the most excited.

One New Zealand family could not stop thousands of miles from bringing their 6-month-old twins to meet their grandmother. In fact, they were so impatient that they decided to fly 17 hours to St. Louis, Missouri, a few days earlier than Grandma expected, leading to the most touching surprise.
