Family band The Petersens perform an amazing cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”. It has been almost 47 years since Dolly Parton, the iconic American country singer, released her hit “Jolene”. In 2019, she challenged the whole world in which musicians from all over the world tried to create the best version of the song and share it on social networks. To make it an unforgettable classic, Parton asked the musicians to take part in her challenge.

Parton’s reason for the challenge is to promote a 2019 Netflix series called Heartstrings, which aims to bring her songs to life in eight episodes. She also explained her reasons for doing so: “These are the songs that I wrote. These are stories from my life. Every trial, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow. This is the melody of my memories. This is the sound of the strings of my heart.”
