La voz Colombia is a television format for musical talent based on the talent show The Voice created by John de Mol in the Netherlands. The winner of the first season was Miranda Cardona, while the winner of the second season was Camilo Martinez. Due to a clause in a contract signed between Caracol and Talpa (the production company that owns the format), the program is not aired on its international signal, except in Spain and Ecuador, where it was a special case.
The album The best of La voz… Colombia was released from the first season, recorded by 12 members and went on sale in the country where it went platinum.
In Ecuador, the Ecuavisa network aired the first season, one of the first versions of The Voice to be broadcast internationally. In addition, it aired on Canal de Vida, the Talpa network that airs every adaptation of the format in the world.
