Here they are at the first ultrasound: three strong, healthy heartbeats. Triplets! Today they run at my feet, fight over toys and spill milk at every meal. Life is an adventure and a blessing and it didn’t go the way I expected.
I redid the nursery, enjoyed a baby shower, and ate a lot of ice cream. But I also had twice as many doctor visits, an ultrasound at each visit, and I never expected to last 8 months at best.

General parenting advice never applied in our situation. “Sleeping when the baby sleeps” is much more difficult when three babies can be awake at the same time.
