A blind guest at a UK restaurant was in for a surprise when he received a birthday message in Braille as a heartwarming act of kindness.

A video of the incident has gone viral on TikTok and shows Natalie Te Paa saying that London’s UK restaurant Luciano by Gino D’Acampo did not give advance notice that she was coming.

He visited the restaurant with his friend Claire Sarah after they watched a show together, and Sarah informed the restaurant staff that it was her birthday.

Te Paa was presented with a plate with the words “Happy Birthday” written on it, and when her friend reached for the plate, Te Paa began to feel the raised spots, she exclaimed. They didn’t.”

The caption on the video screen reads: “So take heart, even though the world is broken now…true goodness still exists.” Te Paa says: “Oh my God: Are you taking me?” She laughs. “That’s crazy. Thank you very much.”
