My grandfather turned 94 years old today, said the granddaughter. His only request was to visit and “drive” my cat.

A priceless video is shown of an elderly man using a walker in his home. At first it looks like he’s just taking a walk, but as he zooms in on the camera, it becomes clear that the boy is carrying a cute kitten on his walk. He enjoys walking through the living room with the cat. He really loves animals.

The granddaughter laughs and they both enjoy sharing these memories. He continues to walk as we see. This may seem like an odd request for a 94th birthday, but this loving family is truly happy right now.

The little things can sometimes make us feel most grateful for the life God has given us.

I really admire this man’s mindset. Many people experience sadness and frustration as they age. He seems to accept it with a heart of gratitude.
