Singer Sarah James has a voice, stage presence, personality, and is only thirteen years old. The teenager wowed America’s Got Talent with his incredible rendition of Billy Eilish’s hit “Lovely.” I’m a big fan of Billy, but this kid sang this song better than the original. So many goosebumps. Her voice is so piercing and beautiful. Right. Sarah is a rising star. Simon saw it clearly when he banged the golden buzzer. After that, sparkling confetti and tears rained down, quickly tracking Sara right into the live performances.

“We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but wow,” Simon said. “There’s a real starlight in you, that’s really undeniable.” Simon was not seriously joking when he said she had a stellar aura; I was completely captivated by her performance. Sarah is insanely talented; I really enjoyed watching her and can’t wait to see her grow. I usually complain that she’s just another child singer, but she doesn’t have a teary story and she has a beautiful voice. So clear and smooth. Just watching her expression was insane. It was powerful and emotional, and you could feel it. I got chills. The entire audience jumped to their feet.

“Sarah, Sarah, Sarah. We’ve heard a lot of singers over the years, but wow!” Simon said. Continuing, Simon said that her performance was “a moment that I will never forget. And I want you to remember this moment forever.” Sarah is definitely one to watch out for as America’s Got Talent continues into its 17th season.
