350 million views!!! Golden boy Calum Scott hits the right note.

Calum Scott, is an English singer and songwriter. In 2015, he rose to prominence with his participation in the popular television show Britain’s Got Talent. Later, as a single, he released his version of Robyn’s hit “Dancing On My Own”, which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and became the biggest selling song of the season in the UK. In 2018, together with Leona Lewis, he released the single “You Are the Reason”. On April 15, 2016, Scott self-released a cover of “Dancing On My Own”. The song was an unexpected hit, hitting No. 40 for the first time on the charts in May and reaching the Top 40 despite an inconspicuous promo from a single radio station, West Hull FM. It was then added to Radio 2’s “C List” and peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart on August 5th. In August 2016, the single was certified platinum in the UK, selling over 600,000 copies.

On May 24, Scott announced on Twitter that he had signed with Capitol Records to release his debut album. Scott has featured his song on television shows such as BBC Look North, Lorraine (TV programme), Weekend (TV programme), Late Night with Seth Meyers and Brazil’s Encontro com Fátima Bernardes. He also promoted the song on several radio stations, including BBC Radio Humberside, Viking FM, Radio Gibraltar, BFBS Radio and Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation. On September 16, he, together with the famous Brazilian artist Ivechi Sangalu, releases the promotional single “Transformar”, which is the official theme of the Summer Paralympic Games 2016. They performed it at the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games on September 18. In September 2016, “Dancing On My Own” became the most downloaded song of the summer in the UK.
