Standing alone in front of nothing but a microphone and music stand, she begins to sing a cover of Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason”. Technically, she’s not alone, given the crowd that’s starting to form around her. Although the song is not well known, that doesn’t mean it isn’t deep and beautiful, and Mia’s voice only emphasizes that.

The softness and lightness of her voice doesn’t seem to come from a 12 year old, but here she is. Mia has the kind of voice that needs to be shown on stage in front of crowds of people, but for now you’ll have to be content with the streets of Dublin. It’s not like she didn’t attract attention, though. The busy sidewalk is filled with people who pass by and stop to listen or toss change into a briefcase at her feet. In addition, the “You Are the Reason” video has been viewed over 1 million times and continues to grow, and her other cover videos are just as popular.
